School Meals

Children may bring a packed lunch or have a cooked school dinner. School lunches can be ordered and paid for via the school meals link on the home page.

The school has been awarded Healthy Schools status and we encourage all children to eat a healthy diet. If your child has a packed lunch we ask you to provide a healthy lunchbox. Sweets must not be included.

The NHS offer lots of advice for healthy lunchboxes on their Change 4 life page, which can be found here:

https://www.nhs.uk/change4life/recipes/healthier-lunchboxes

Please mark your child’s name clearly on the outside of the box. Only water is allowed as a drink at lunchtime. Children should have a clear water bottle in school every day please. (Let the office know if you need our help to provide one.) Chilled water is available in both buildings.

The children have their lunch in the hall and are supervised throughout the lunch break by our Lunchbreak Supervisors.

Free School Meals – how to apply

Parents and carers can now apply for free school meals online via the South Gloucestershire website, using the link below. Your eligibility will be checked online, and the portal will let you know whether your child is eligible for free school meals. If your child is eligible you will receive a confirmation message, and the school will be notified directly. If you are not eligible you will be presented with a message stating this.
