All the monitors in Eco-Schools club, for preparing brilliantly for our successful Eco-Schools assessment, and for presenting our work so wonderfully to the Eco-Schools assessor.
In Y3, Mrs McKinstry and Mrs Shepherd chose:
Layla, for always respecting her teachers’ requests and encouraging the class to make their teachers proud;
Troy, Jamie and Kieran, for being excellent learning buddies.
In Y4, Mr Williams chose:
Jardel, for excellent calculation work in maths;
Seren, for a brilliantly written newspaper report and a big improvement in handwriting;
The whole of Y4, for their wonderful efforts over the last ten weeks to learn the clarinet, and their impressive showcase for parents this week.
In Y5/6, Mrs Tipping and Miss Drayton chose:
Jay, Josh, Luca and Oliver, for building a really high-quality rocket car for the speed testing competition;
Ruby, for well-explained problem solving about percentages;
Evie, for excellent measuring and conversion work, followed by clearly presented results;
Lillie, for perseverance with knitting; (awarded by Mrs Shrubsole)
Oliver, Rose, Emily, Sophie, Ruby, Rebecca, Lillie, Alfie and Abigail, for being such excellent helpers at the tag rugby tournament that another school’s deputy head praised their help and called them ‘a credit to Manorbrook’.
